By accessing or using this website, browsing its content, or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all policies referenced within them.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using this website immediately and must not place an order. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content.

3. Our Products

4Drive is a UK-based online retailer of automotive electrical components, including starter motors, alternators, batteries, regulators, ignition parts, sensors and marine electrical components.

  • All products listed are new unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Product descriptions, images and technical specifications are provided in good faith and updated regularly. Minor variations may occasionally occur due to manufacturer updates.
  • Stock availability is displayed in real time where possible but cannot be guaranteed. If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you promptly to offer an alternative or a full refund.
  • Technical fitment data and cross-reference part numbers are provided as guidance. You are responsible for confirming compatibility with your specific vehicle before installation. Contact us if you need fitment assistance before ordering.

4. Contract Formation

Product listings on this website are an invitation to treat, not a contractual offer. When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase goods under these Terms.

A legally binding contract between you and Robicon Digital LTD is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email confirming your order has been processed and sent.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability. Any payment taken will be refunded in full in such circumstances.

5. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing UK rate, unless otherwise stated.
  • Delivery charges (where applicable) are shown separately at checkout before payment is confirmed.
  • Prices may change without prior notice. The price you pay is the price confirmed at the time your order is placed.
  • Payment must be made in full at the point of ordering via our secure checkout. Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout.
  • All payment processing is handled via Shopify Payments and third-party providers using industry-standard encryption. We do not store your card details.
  • Title and ownership of goods passes to you only upon receipt of full payment.
  • In the event of a pricing error, we are not obliged to honour the incorrect price and will contact you to offer the correct price or a full refund.

6. Delivery

  • Orders are subject to a cut-off time of 14:00 GMT, Monday to Friday. The total timeframe for items to arrive is 2 – 6 working days (1-3 handling + 1-3 transit days) from order confirmation.
  • UK standard delivery is free on orders over £150. Charges for smaller orders are shown at checkout.
  • A tracking number will be sent to your registered email address once your order has been dispatched.
  • Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, adverse weather or circumstances outside our control.
  • Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photographic evidence.
  • If a delivery attempt fails and the parcel is returned to us, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional charges may apply.

7. Returns & Refunds

Our returns policy complies fully with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Right to Cancel: As a consumer purchasing online, you have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. You then have a further 30 days to return the item to us.

  • To initiate a return, contact us at office@4drive.co.uk or call 07500 282085 with your order number and reason for return.
  • Returned goods must be unused and uninstalled, in their original packaging and include all documentation.
  • All returned items must be sent directly to our registered operating address: 72 Heathfield Drive, Tyldesley, Manchester, M29 8PJ, United Kingdom. Return postage costs are the customer's responsibility, except where items are faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied by us.
  • Electrical parts that have been installed, connected, or tested cannot be returned unless proven faulty on arrival.
  • Refunds are processed within 2 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item, to your original payment method.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

8. Warranty

  • Most products carry a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated on the product listing.
  • Warranty claims must be supported by proof of purchase and a description of the defect.
  • Warranty cover does not apply to damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, negligence, modification, or use outside the component's specified operating conditions.
  • CDI units, electronic control modules and certain ignition components may be sold with limited or no warranty — this is stated clearly on individual product pages where applicable.
  • In the event of a valid warranty claim, we will offer repair, replacement or refund at our discretion, in accordance with your statutory rights.

9. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law. In particular:

  • Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
  • Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel distance sales within 30 days of delivery.
  • If a fault appears within the first 30 days, you are entitled to a full refund.
  • If a fault appears within the first 6 months, we must prove the goods were not faulty at the time of sale before we can refuse a remedy.

If you have a complaint we have been unable to resolve, you may contact the Citizens Advice Consumer Service on 0808 223 1133, or refer the matter to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) scheme.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods in question.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental or special losses, including loss of profits, loss of vehicle use, or third-party labour costs.
  • We are not liable for losses arising from incorrect installation of parts by the customer or a third party.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be lawfully excluded under UK law.

All content on this website — including text, images, product descriptions, logos, graphics and data — is the property of Robicon Digital LTD or its licensed suppliers and is protected by UK and international copyright law.
