This is a brand new aftermarket two position ignition key switch, supplied as a direct replacement for the original Kawasaki unit on the KVF 650 and KVF 750 Brute Force i. The switch has two positions, off and on, and runs three wires into a single plug. Two keys and the matching connector are supplied, and every unit is tested before it is dispatched.
Please read this before ordering: this switch works only on the fuel injected i versions of the Brute Force. It will not fit the non-i models, which use a different switch, so check your machine before you buy. On the correct model the installation is plug-and-play - the barrel goes into the original mounting position, the plug mates with the existing loom, and nothing needs to be cut, spliced or drilled. If the quad is dead on the key, or drops out and comes back when the bars are turned, the ignition switch is the usual cause once the battery and the main fuse have been ruled out.
