3-Position Ignition Key Switch

This is a brand new aftermarket three position ignition key switch from RMSTATOR, part number RM05034, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Arctic Cat DVX 400, the Kawasaki KFX 400 and the Suzuki LTZ 400 between 2003 and 2008. These three machines share the same 400 class sport quad platform, so the same switch and the same OEM part numbers carry across all of them. Installation is plug-and-play and a direct fit, with the matching connector supplied.

The ignition key switch carries battery power into the ignition and accessory circuits and is one of the parts that suffers most on a sport quad. Pressure washing, mud, and constant vibration work moisture and grit past the barrel, the contacts pit and corrode, and the switch eventually starts to drop out. The symptoms follow a familiar pattern: the machine dies over bumps and restarts when the key is wiggled, the dash powers up intermittently, there is no power at all in the On position, or the barrel becomes stiff, sloppy or refuses to turn. This switch has three positions - off, accessories and on - and is supplied with two keys and the connector, so a replacement gives you a fresh matched pair of keys rather than a single spare.
