This is a brand new aftermarket 3-position ignition key switch, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the CFMoto CForce 500 X5, 600 X6 and 625 X6 ATVs. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part: it mounts in the original location and mates with the machine's existing plug, so no cutting, splicing or modification of the wiring loom is required. Two keys are supplied with every switch, a separate lock is included, and the connectors are included.
The switch works over three positions - off, accessories and on. It carries four wires and four pins on a generous 400 mm lead terminating in a single plug, and the body measures 46 mm high by 28 mm long by 35 mm wide. It replaces CFMoto part numbers 9010-010000 and 9010-010000-1000. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.

How do I know my old key switch has failed?
Common signs are a machine that stays dead when the key is turned to on, power that cuts in and out when the key or the wiring behind it is disturbed, accessories that will not run in the middle position, a barrel that spins without engaging a detent, or corroded and heat-damaged terminals at the plug. A continuity check across the terminals in each of the three positions will show whether the switch itself is passing current.
What is the separate lock that comes with it?
