This is a brand new aftermarket 4-position ignition key switch, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Suzuki LTA 700 X KingQuad and the LTA 500 and 750 KingQuad AXi. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part: it mounts in the original location and mates with the machine's existing plug, so no cutting, splicing or modification of the wiring loom is required. Two keys are supplied with every switch and the connectors are included.
The switch works over four positions - off, ignition with no lights, ignition with lights, and a switched accessory position. It carries five wires and five pins on a long 460 mm lead terminating in a single plug, and the body measures 51 mm high by 41 mm long by 41 mm wide. It replaces Suzuki part numbers 37110-31G00, 37110-31G01, 37110-31G10, 37110-31G20, 37110-34K00, 37110-34K01 and 37110-34K10. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.

How do I know my old key switch has failed?
Typical symptoms are a quad that stays dead when the key is turned on, power that cuts in and out when the key or the wiring behind it is disturbed, lights that will not come on in the lights position, a barrel that spins without engaging a detent, or corroded and heat-damaged terminals at the plug. A continuity check across the terminals in each of the four positions will confirm whether the switch itself is passing current.
What do the four positions do?
Position one is off. Position two runs the ignition with the lights off. Position three runs the ignition with the lights on. The fourth is a switched accessory position, which feeds accessories without the ignition circuit live.
