This is a brand new aftermarket high output stator rated at 80 Watt DC, built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the KTM 250 and 350 SX-F and XC-F and to the Husqvarna FC 250 and 350. RMSTATOR state that this stator increases power output significantly, giving 20 per cent more output over stock while working with all other OEM components. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so it mounts in the standard position and connects to the existing loom without cutting or modification.
The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied on the assembly, so the ignition trigger is renewed at the same time as the charging winding. The unit is built on the highest grade of lamination materials and wound with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. Connectors and a rubber grommet are included. The extra output is useful on a competition four stroke that has to carry lighting, a fan or other added electrical load without flattening the battery.

No. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and plug-and-play, and RMSTATOR state that it works with all other OEM components, so the standard regulator rectifier and wiring are retained.
What is included in the box?

How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
Compare your multimeter readings with the Technical Specs table above. The charging winding should read about 0.4 ohms yellow to yellow and an open line from yellow to ground, and the pick-up about 130 ohms red to green, each within 20 per cent. Continuity to ground or a badly out of specification reading indicates a failed unit.
Why fit an 80W unit rather than a standard one?
The standard stator on these models has little spare capacity. At 80 Watt DC this unit gives roughly 20 per cent more output over stock, which provides headroom for lights, a cooling fan or other added electrical load while still charging the battery properly.
