This is a brand new aftermarket high output stator rated at 80 Watt DC, built as a direct replacement for the original unit used across the KTM 250, 350 and 450 SX-F and XC-F, the Husqvarna 250, 350 and 450 FC, and the GasGas EX 250. RMSTATOR state that this stator increases power output significantly over the standard unit. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so it mounts in the original position and connects to the existing loom with no cutting and no modification.
The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied on the assembly, which means the ignition trigger is renewed at the same time as the charging winding. The unit is built on the highest grade of lamination materials and wound with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. Connectors and a rubber grommet are included and all products shipped are tested. The extra output suits a competition four stroke that has to carry lighting, a fan or other added electrical load.

How can I tell whether my old stator has failed?
Compare your multimeter readings with the Technical Specs table above. The charging winding should read about 0.4 ohms yellow to yellow and the pick-up coil about 133 ohms green to red, each within 20 per cent. A reading far outside those figures, or continuity between a winding and the stator body, indicates a failed unit.
