850W High Output Stator
Can-Am Maverick and Maverick Max X3 1000RR Turbo 2021-2025 - Part RMS010-108366 - Replaces 420686363
A brand new aftermarket 850 watt stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Can-Am Maverick X3 1000RR Turbo and Maverick Max X3 1000RR Turbo. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part designed for straightforward installation, so there is no need to modify the loom or adapt the mounting. The 12-pole design and 850 watt output match the demands of a turbocharged side-by-side, where the charging system has to carry the engine management, the fuel and boost control, lighting and whatever accessories have been added on top.
The unit is wound with the highest grade of copper winding, rated to resist 200 degrees Celsius, on the highest grade of lamination materials. Heat is the usual reason a stator in this application fails - a machine that is run hard, run in dust and heat, or asked to carry a heavy accessory load will cook the original windings before anything else goes wrong. The higher temperature rating is there to give the replacement a longer working life in the same conditions. Connectors and a rubber grommet are supplied with the stator, and every unit shipped is tested before it leaves us. All product photographs are accurate - if you are in any doubt, compare the item against your original part and check the OEM number.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and is designed for plug-and-play installation. The three wires run into a single 3-pin plug, matching the original layout, so no cutting or splicing is required.
What is included in the box?
The stator, its connectors, and the rubber grommet.
How do I know the original stator has failed?
Test it with a multimeter against the figures in the specification table. Between any two yellow wires a healthy stator reads 0.3 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent, and each yellow wire should read open circuit to ground. Continuity to ground means the winding has shorted. In use, the symptoms are usually a battery that will not hold its charge, a charging voltage that stays low as engine speed rises, warning lights, or visible discolouration and burning on the windings.
Why does this machine need an 850W stator?
The 1000RR Turbo runs a substantial electrical load - engine management, fuel and boost control, lighting and any accessories added by the owner. The 850 watt, 12-pole output of this unit matches the original specification so the charging system keeps up with that load rather than slowly draining the battery on long runs or at low engine speeds.
