This 12-volt, 50-amp alternator is a complete replacement unit built to the output and mounting specification of the original equipment fitted to Caterpillar GC and GP series lift trucks. It is manufactured by Mitsubishi, the original supplier for this application, and replaces the A2TA2871 and MD354809 units.
It is supplied complete with a single-groove V-belt pulley (68mm outside diameter), matching the factory setup exactly. Each unit is tested for correct output and rotation before it is dispatched. As a conventional alternator it requires no ECU coding or programming to fit - simply mount, connect and belt it up in place of the original unit.
