This alternator is built to OEM specifications as a direct fit-and-function replacement for the Magneton unit fitted to John Deere 240, 250, 260, 270 and 280 skid steer loaders, including the Series II machines. It bolts onto the original mounting points using the factory 8-groove pulley.
It is a 12-volt, 55-amp unit with an internal regulator (IR) and external fan (EF), running on an 8-groove pulley with a 60mm outside diameter. It is negative earth, with an M6 x 1.00 B+ output stud and M5 x 0.8 D+ and R terminals, and mounts via two 18mm unthreaded holes and one M8 x 1.25 threaded hole.
