John Deere Compact Utility Tractors - Permanent Magnet, 12V
This permanent magnet alternator is a direct replacement for the John Deere compact utility tractor range, covering the 670, 770 and 1070 built from 1989 to 1996 as well as the later 2305, 2320, 2520, 4010, 4100, 4110 and 4115 models. It is built to OEM specifications and bolts straight into the existing mounting points without modification.
It is rated at 12 volts and replaces the Kokusan-built unit carried under John Deere numbers AM877957 and AM880339. The permanent magnet design keeps the unit compact and removes the field windings and slip rings that are the usual wear points on a conventional alternator.
