This alternator is built to OEM specifications as a direct fit-and-function replacement for the Hitachi LR140-714 series unit fitted to John Deere 4475 and 5575 skid steer loaders, John Deere 3012 and 3015 machines and Samsung SE50-3 excavators, all powered by Yanmar diesel engines. It bolts onto the original mounting points using the factory single-groove pulley.
It is a 12-volt, 40-amp unit with an internal regulator (IR) and internal fan (IF), turning clockwise on a 1-V pulley, matching the original fitment. It replaces John Deere AM878581 and AM880733 directly.
