This 12-volt, 120 amp alternator is built for John Deere tractors fitted with the 6-466 and 6-619 diesel engines, as well as the Cummins N-855 and N-885 powered 8960 and 8970. It replaces John Deere RE36246, RE37201, RE42123, RE44140, RE51921, SE501371 and TY6684 units.
The unit uses an internal regulator and internal fan design with a 2-groove V pulley (17 mm ID, 1/2 in belt width) and clockwise rotation, matching the original equipment layout for a direct swap.
