This alternator is a direct replacement for Komatsu and Toyota lift trucks, and Northern Lights generators, fitted with an alternator of this specification. It is built to OEM specifications by Denso, giving the same fit, output and mounting as the original alternator it replaces, with no modification required for installation.
Rated at 12 volts with a 40 amp output, this internal-regulator, internal-fan (IR/IF) unit rotates clockwise (CW) and uses a single-groove V1 pulley measuring 76mm OD with a 15mm bore and a 5/8 inch belt width. The top drive-end mounting ear is a threaded 6mm x 1.0, the bottom mounting ears are unthreaded 8.2mm, and the plug code is IG-L.
