This alternator is a direct OEM-fit replacement for the Kubota L5740 and L5740HST tractors and the closely related L3240HSTC, and is also used on Agco ST34, ST35, ST40 and ST40X tractors, Agco Challenger MT265, MT265B, MT275 and MT285 tractors, and Massey Ferguson ZT29 and ZT33 machines. It is a 12 volt, 60 amp unit with clockwise rotation, built on a single V-belt pulley to match the original factory fitment.
The unit is internally regulated (IR) with an internal fan (IF), matching the original specification so it fits in place of the factory unit with no modification needed. It replaces Kubota 3A611-74012, Agco 3606220M91 and the Denso 101211-8520 and 101211-8521 units. Restoring the correct 60 amp output helps ensure reliable starting and stable operation of the tractor's electrical systems under load.
