12-Volt 85 Amp IR/IF - Lucas A115 Family
This alternator is built to OEM specifications as a direct fit-and-function replacement for the Lucas A115 family unit fitted to Perkins diesel engines and the machines built around them - Caterpillar 216B to 242B skid steer loaders, Kioti DK and DX series tractors, JCB plant, and the 3.9 litre V8 Land Rover Defender and Range Rover. It bolts onto the original mounting points using the factory 2-groove pulley.
It is a 12-volt, 85-amp unit with an internal regulator (IR) and internal fan (IF), running on a 2-V pulley designed for a 13mm belt width. It is negative earth, with an M6 x 1.00 B+ output stud and M5 x 0.8 D+ and W terminals. Mounting is via one M8 x 1.25 threaded hole and two unthreaded holes, with a 14mm mounting ear thickness.
