12-volt 51 amp replacement alternator for Carrier Transicold refrigeration units
This alternator is built for Carrier Transicold refrigeration units, including the Eagle Plus, running on Ford and New Holland engine platforms, and is supplied as a direct replacement for the original equipment unit. It is a 12-volt, clockwise-rotation alternator rated at 51 amps, fitted with an internal regulator (IR) and a field diode type charging circuit.
It is manufactured to OEM specifications for fit, output and mounting, so it bolts straight into the original bracket and pulley arrangement without modification. The unit replaces the Motorola 8AR2070K design and interchanges with Prestolite 110-274 and Lester 8615, and uses a spool-mount body with a clockwise-rotation drive.
