This alternator is built to OEM specifications as a direct fit and function replacement for Volvo Penta, Mercruiser and OMC sterndrive and V-drive marine engines. It is an IR/EF unit - internally regulated with an external fan - rated at 12 volts and 65 amps.
The unit uses a single-groove (1V) pulley. Depending on the application, attaching wires on the rear of the unit may or may not be used, so please check your original unit's wiring configuration before fitting.
