Stator for Arctic Cat 250 DVX & 250 Utility 2006-2009
Arctic Cat 250 DVX and 250 Utility, 2006 to 2009 - RMSTATOR part RM01259 - replaces OEM 3304-682 and 3303-833
This is a brand new generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original charging unit fitted to the Arctic Cat 250 DVX and the Arctic Cat 250 Utility built between 2006 and 2009. The stator is the part that sits behind the flywheel and generates every amp your machine uses - it feeds the regulator rectifier, keeps the battery charged and, on this application, also carries the pickup pulsar coil that tells the ignition when to fire. When the windings break down the symptoms are familiar: a battery that will not hold charge, dimming lights as the revs rise, hard starting, or a machine that simply cuts out and refuses to restart.
This unit is a plug-and-play, direct fit assembly - the connectors, the wire lengths and the mounting pattern all match the original, so no cutting, splicing or modification is needed. It is wound with the highest grade copper, rated to withstand 200 degrees C, on the highest grade lamination stack, and every unit is bench tested before it leaves the factory. The pickup pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber harness grommet are all supplied with the stator, so the assembly goes on complete rather than asking you to transfer parts across from the failed original.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit without modification?
Yes. This is a plug-and-play, direct fit stator for the Arctic Cat 250 DVX and 250 Utility from 2006 to 2009. The connectors, wire lengths and mounting pattern follow the original, so no cutting or splicing is required. Please still confirm the part number on your existing unit before ordering.
What is included in the box?
The generator stator itself, the pickup pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber harness grommet. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
The usual signs are a battery that will not stay charged, lights that do not brighten as engine speed rises, hard starting or a sudden loss of ignition. A multimeter check is the reliable test: this unit reads about 0.4 ohms +/- 20% between the two yellow alternator wires, and about 105 ohms +/- 20% across the pickup between Green/White and Blue/Yellow. A reading of infinity means an open winding, and a reading near zero to earth means a shorted one.
Does it come with the pickup pulsar coil already fitted?
Yes. The pickup pulsar coil is supplied as part of the assembly, so there is no need to transfer the coil from your old stator. The pickup lead runs 55 mm from the coil to the grommet.
