Brake Pressure Switch for Polaris General, Ranger, RZR and Sportsman
Polaris General 1000, Ranger 325 500, RZR 900 and Sportsman 570 - 2015-2024
Brand new brake pressure switch for Polaris machines, built to a quality that exceeds the OEM equipment. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part with easy installation. All products shipped are tested, and all item pictures are accurate - if in doubt, do not hesitate to compare our item to your original part before ordering.
The brake pressure switch screws into the brake hydraulics and closes when line pressure rises, which is what brings the brake light on. When it fails the brake light stops working, stays on permanently, or comes on only under hard braking, and on machines that interlock the switch with the starter or the drive systems the fault can stop the machine behaving normally. This switch is 64 mm overall, 30 mm after the head, with a 22 mm hex head, one plug and two terminals.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit without modification?
Yes. On the models listed above it is a plug-and-play direct fit that replaces the original switch with no wiring changes or modification.
What is included?
The brake pressure switch itself, with its 22 mm hex head and single two-terminal plug. No other hardware is supplied with this part.
How do I tell the old switch has failed?
Put a meter across the two terminals with the switch unplugged: it should be open circuit at rest and close when the brake is applied. A switch that never closes, never opens, or leaks fluid around the body has failed and should be replaced.
Do I need to bleed the brakes after fitting?
The switch threads into the hydraulic circuit, so the system is opened when it is removed. Bleed the affected circuit afterwards and check for leaks around the switch body before riding.
