This is a brand new aftermarket PeakRPM CDI box for the European specification Kawasaki KLF 300 Bayou B and Bayou C, covering model years 1995 to 2006. It is a direct plug-in replacement built to the original connector pattern, two plugs carrying six pins between them, so it goes straight onto the standard loom. Dielectric connector grease is supplied in the box.
The CDI box is what charges and discharges into the ignition coil and controls the advance curve the engine runs on. A failing unit usually shows itself as no spark at all, a spark that disappears once the engine has warmed through, an artificial rev ceiling, or running faults that come and go with heat and vibration. This PeakRPM unit uses OEM-grade electronic components and printed circuit boards so it holds up to the heat and the pounding an ATV gives it.
