Kawasaki KLF 220 and KLF 250 Bayou 1996-2011 - Suzuki LT-F King Quad 300 1995-2000

This is a brand new RMSTATOR PeakRPM aftermarket CDI box for the Kawasaki KLF 220 and KLF 250 Bayou and the Suzuki LT-F King Quad 300. It is a plug-and-play direct replacement for the original unit and is built to deliver optimal ignition output. The CDI box is the brain of the ignition system: it stores the charge coming from the stator, reads the trigger signal from the pickup coil to know exactly where the engine is in its cycle, and then dumps that charge into the ignition coil at the right instant to fire the spark plug. It also sets the advance curve and the rev limit.

Because the unit sits under constant heat and vibration, its internal capacitors, thyristor and potted circuitry degrade with age. A failing CDI box typically shows up as no spark at all, a spark that dies once the engine warms through, a machine that will not rev past a certain point, or misfiring and hard starting that no amount of new plugs or coils will cure. This replacement uses higher-grade electronic components that exceed the quality of the OEM equipment, and every product shipped is tested before it leaves us. It reproduces the original case dimensions and the 77 mm centre-to-centre fixation hole spacing, and carries the standard single 6-pin plug, so it mounts in the factory position and connects straight to the existing loom with no cutting, splicing or adapters.
