Suzuki GSXR 600 and GSXR 750 - 2006-2009 and 2011-2019
Brand new aftermarket stator kit with crankcase cover gasket and a CNC red machined aluminium mosfet voltage regulator. It is a direct replacement for your original units, plug-and-play and easy to install. An additional connector for the main harness side is included in the kit, because the harness side connectors are often melted, corroded or defective and cause charging faults on their own.
The stator is wound with the highest grade of copper winding, rated to 200 degrees Celsius, on the highest grade of lamination materials. The mosfet regulator holds a minimum charging voltage of 14.5 V plus or minus 0.5 V, handles a maximum charging current of 50 A / 500 W, keeps open circuit voltage below 15 V and operates from -20 C to 85 C. Replacing the stator and the regulator together is the sensible approach, because a shorted regulator is the most common reason a new stator burns out.

How do I tell the old parts have failed?
Measure the stator yellow to yellow - it should read 0.5 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent, with no continuity to earth. Then check charging voltage at the battery with the engine running: this regulator holds a minimum of 14.5 V plus or minus 0.5 V, so a much lower reading points at the regulator or the stator, and a reading above 15 V points at the regulator.
Why is a mosfet regulator worth fitting?
A mosfet unit runs cooler than an older shunt type and this one is rated to 50 A / 500 W in a CNC machined aluminium body, which helps it shed heat. Heat is what kills regulators, and a failing regulator takes stators with it.
