This is a brand new complete throttle body assembly built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to Polaris Ranger, Ranger Crew, RZR and Sportsman machines with 570, 900 and 1000 engines from 2013 to 2026. It is supplied as a finished assembly with the throttle position sensor and the idle air control valve already installed, so it goes on as one part rather than as a bare body that has to be built up from the old components. Quality exceeds the original equipment specification and every unit is tested before shipment.
The throttle body is the point where air enters the engine, and the assembly does far more than open and close a butterfly. The throttle position sensor tells the engine control unit exactly how far the throttle is open so it can calculate the right amount of fuel, and the idle air control valve meters the small amount of air the engine needs to idle smoothly when the butterfly is shut. When any part of that assembly wears, sticks or drifts out of range, the machine can idle roughly or stall, hunt at low revs, hesitate when the throttle is opened, run rich or lean, or trip a fault code and drop into a reduced power mode. Replacing the whole assembly renews the body, the sensor and the valve together, which removes the guesswork of chasing a fault across three separate components.

Will it fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement for the original assembly, so it mounts in the original position between the intake and the plenum and the original connectors plug straight onto the sensor and the valve. No adapting or rewiring is needed. Disconnect the battery before starting, and have the work carried out by a qualified technician if you are not confident with fuel and intake components.
What is included?
One complete throttle body assembly with the TPS throttle position sensor and the IAC idle air control valve already installed. Intake gaskets, clamps and hoses are not supplied, so inspect the original items and renew any that are hardened, split or distorted while the assembly is off.
How do I know my old throttle body has failed?
Common symptoms are an idle that hunts up and down or drops out altogether, a machine that stalls when you come off the throttle, hesitation or a flat spot as the throttle is opened, difficulty starting, or a fault code and a reduced power mode. A worn throttle position sensor typically produces an erratic signal that makes the fuelling wander, while a sticking or carboned idle air control valve upsets the idle in particular. Heavy carbon around the butterfly and a shaft with visible play are also signs that the assembly has reached the end of its life.
Do I need to reset or relearn anything after fitting?
Because the throttle position sensor is new, it is good practice to clear any stored fault codes and allow the engine to idle undisturbed until it settles so the control unit can relearn its idle position. Follow the procedure in the workshop manual for your model, as the exact steps vary across the Ranger, RZR and Sportsman ranges.
