Compounded Stanley Steam Oil 1000+ST is specially formulated for Stanley Steam Cars. It is made from a blend of solvent refined mineral oil and unique additives to improve corrosion resistance and lubricity, protecting components from premature wear.

The fatty compounding allows the oil to emulsify in the presence of moisture while maintaining a strong lubrication film. This ensures the lubricant disperses and adheres to internal surfaces of steam cylinders and valve blocks.

Suitable for steam temperatures over 290°C (550°F) and boiler pressures over 250 PSI.

Applications:

Designed for high steam temperatures, pressures, and dry superheat steam conditions. Ideal for steam locomotives on preserved lines, traction engines, steam rollers, and stationary engines. Also suitable for lubricating industrial gears and bearings where extreme pressure oils are not required. Not recommended for use with condensate recovery.
