This is a brand new 200 watt high output stator assembly for the Yamaha YFZ 350 Banshee, supplied with an AC regulator. It is a direct replacement for your original unit, with plug and play, direct fit, easy installation, and it also carries an adjustable timing plate that allows the ignition to be advanced or retarded by up to 10 degrees. At 200 watts it is aimed at machines running serious lighting loads.
For a limited time we are including a free Tympanum AC regulator, required to run the extra wattage supplied by the 200 W stator. It is a 12 volt regulator used by Baja winners, rated at 225 watts, for use with all standard halogen and quartz lights. It gives precise voltage control, eliminates light burnout and reduces flickering and dimming, and it works with all other OEM parts with a simple installation. The stator is wound with the highest grade copper, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, on the highest grade lamination materials. Every unit is tested before it ships.

Yes. The stator is a direct replacement designed for plug and play, direct fit installation, and it works with all other OEM parts. The regulator is a simple installation as well. Our wire colour code may differ from the original, but all wires are in the correct order.
What is included in the box?
The stator assembly with pickup pulsar coil, connector and rubber grommet, the adjustable timing plate, and the free Tympanum 12 volt AC regulator rated at 225 watts.
Why is a regulator needed with a 200 W stator?
It is required to run the extra wattage supplied by the 200 W stator. Without it the additional output would pass straight to the lighting circuit and bulbs would fail quickly. The Tympanum unit gives precise voltage control and at 225 watts it has headroom over the stator output.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
Check the AC output, then measure the windings against the table above: 0.2 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent alternator black to yellow, 100 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent pickup white/red to white/green, and 15 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent source red to green. Fully charge the battery before testing. Replace burned or corroded connectors, repair melted wiring, and set the pickup coil air gap no less than 0.010 in. Disconnect the battery before servicing.
