What if my original connector has 5 wires instead of 6?

This stator features a 6-position connector. If your original unit only used 5 wires, simply de-pin the BLACK/RED wire from the top center position of our connector and ground it directly to the engine frame or metal chassis to match your original configuration.

How do I ensure a long lifespan for this stator?

Always start with a fully charged and load-tested battery. A weak or faulty battery is the primary cause of stator overheating and premature failure. We also include the opposite harness connector in case your original is melted or corroded.
