A brand new aftermarket generator stator covering the Honda CB 600 and the CBR 600 F, F2 and F3 across the 1991 to 2006 span. It is supplied as a direct replacement for the original charging unit and fits plug-and-play on the standard mounting points and the standard three-pin connector, so there is no rewiring, no splicing and no modification to the machine.
These middleweight fours are ridden hard and often carry years of accumulated heat cycles through the generator cover, which is what eventually breaks a stator down. This unit is built on highest grade lamination materials and wound with highest grade copper windings rated to resist 200 degrees Celsius. It matches the original at 107 mm outer diameter, 42 mm bore and 18 mm thick, with a 580 mm run from the grommet to the plug. Two rubber grommets are supplied rather than one, and the opposite connector for the main harness side is included as well, since that plug is frequently melted, corroded or defective by the time a stator gives up and is a major cause of repeat electrical problems. All products shipped are tested.

What is included?

How do I know my stator has failed?
Unplug the connector and measure between each pair of the three yellow wires. Each pair should read about 0.5 ohms, plus or minus 20 per cent, and the readings should be consistent with each other. A pair reading open circuit, a set of very uneven readings, or continuity between a yellow wire and the stator body all mean the winding has failed.
Why are two grommets supplied?
Two rubber grommets are included with this part so the harness can be sealed correctly where it leaves the engine case. Perished or missing grommets let oil weep and let the loom chafe, so fitting fresh ones with the stator is worth doing while the cover is off.
