Generator Stator with Pickup Coil for Ski-Doo Grand Touring, MX Z, GSX and Lynx
Ski-Doo Grand Touring 600, MX Z 500 and 600, GSX 500, 600 and 800, Lynx Xtrim 800 and Rave 600 - 2008 to 2020 - Part RM01326
This is a brand new generator stator supplied complete with the pickup pulsar coil, built as a direct replacement for the original assembly on a broad range of Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles. Installation is plug-and-play and a direct fit, using the standard mountings and the standard harness connections, so the job requires no wiring modification. A connector is included and all products are tested before shipping.
Because the pickup coil is included, this part addresses two separate faults in one fitting. A failed charging winding leaves the battery flat and the lights dim; a failed pickup coil leaves the engine with no trigger signal, which shows up as a no-spark condition, an intermittent cut-out, or an engine that fires and then dies. Both coils live in the same magneto assembly and both suffer from the same vibration and heat, so replacing them together during a single strip-down saves the second job later.
The assembly is built with the highest grade lamination materials and copper windings rated to 200 degrees Celsius. There are seven wires terminating in two plugs with seven pins in total: the yellow alternator legs read approximately 0.4 ohms to one another, while both pickup circuits, grey to green and yellow to white to blue, read approximately 300 ohms. Those published figures let the assembly be tested against a multimeter both before it is fitted and at any future service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct replacement for the original unit, plug-and-play and a direct fit, using the standard connectors and mounting points.
What is included in the box?
The generator stator, the pickup pulsar coil and the connectors.
How do I tell whether the stator or the pickup coil has failed?
They are tested separately. The yellow alternator legs should read approximately 0.4 ohms to one another - a wrong reading there explains a flat battery and dim lights. The pickup circuits, grey to green and yellow to white to blue, should each read approximately 300 ohms - a wrong reading there explains no spark or an intermittent cut-out. Both figures carry a plus or minus 20 percent tolerance.
Why is the pickup coil supplied as part of the same assembly?
The pickup coil is mounted on the same magneto plate as the charging winding and is exposed to the same heat and vibration. Supplying both together means one strip-down cures both a charging fault and an ignition trigger fault, rather than a second job when the pickup fails later.
