A brand new aftermarket generator stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit on the Aprilia RST 1000 Futura and ETV 1000 Caponord. The stator sits behind the alternator cover and generates the three-phase AC current that the regulator/rectifier turns into the DC supply for the battery, ignition, lighting and instruments. A stator with burnt or shorted windings will not keep the battery charged, and the bike will progressively lose electrical power until it stops.
This replacement uses the highest grade of lamination materials and the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. It is plug-and-play and fits directly to the original mountings and the original loom plug, so no harness modification is needed. The connector is included, and an additional opposite connector for the main harness side is supplied as well, since these are commonly melted, corroded or defective and are a major cause of repetitive electrical issues. All products shipped are tested.

Does this fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement for the original unit, fitting the standard mounting points and plugging into the original loom connector. No cutting, splicing or modification of the wiring is required.
What is included?
The stator with its connector fitted, plus a second, opposite connector for the main harness side so you can renew both halves of a joint that is often melted or corroded on these machines.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
With the plug disconnected, measure resistance between each pair of yellow wires. A serviceable stator reads about 0.4 ohms, within plus or minus 20 per cent. Any reading well outside that, or continuity from a yellow wire to earth, indicates a failed winding. A battery that will not hold charge and low charging voltage at the terminals are the usual signs.
Why is a second connector supplied?
Because the harness-side plug on these bikes is frequently melted, corroded or defective, and reusing a damaged connector is a major cause of repeat electrical faults. Renewing both halves at the same time removes that failure point.
