Generator Stator for Honda CBR600 F4
Honda CBR600F4, 1999-2000 - OEM 31120-MBW-611
A brand new aftermarket stator for the Honda CBR600 F4, supplied as a direct replacement to your original unit. Installation is plug-and-play and direct fit, so the failed factory stator comes out and this one goes in using the standard mounting points and the standard three-pin connection. Nothing about the loom needs to be altered. The three-phase winding is made to the original electrical specification, giving the charging system the AC output it was designed around.
The stator is built from the highest grade lamination materials with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, which is where the standard F4 stator most often breaks down after years of heat cycling. Every unit is tested before it is shipped. Alongside the stator you get a connector and a rubber grommet, plus the opposite connector for the main harness side, because those are frequently found melted, corroded or defective and are a major cause of repeat electrical faults. The part reference is RMS010-103419.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct fit for the standard CBR600 F4 stator, using the original mounting holes and the same single three-pin plug. No cutting or splicing of the loom is needed. The wire colours may differ from the unit you remove, but the order of the phases is correct.
What comes in the box?
The stator itself, a connector, a rubber grommet and an additional opposite connector for the main harness side, so a burnt or corroded harness plug can be renewed at the same time.
How do I confirm the old stator has failed?
Measure the AC output before fitting anything new. The wire to wire resistance across the alternator windings should be in the region of 0.4 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent. A reading far from that, an open circuit, or continuity from a winding to the core all indicate the stator has gone. Flat batteries, dim lights and poor running as the charge drops are the usual symptoms.
Is there anything to watch out for during the fit?
Replace any burned connector rather than reusing it, repair melted wiring in the loom, and apply high temperature dielectric grease to the connections. Use a locking compound on the stator bolts. If your assembly carries a pickup coil, keep a minimum air gap of 0.010 inch.
