Generator Stator for Honda SH 125i
Honda SH 125i - 2013-2024 - crank position sensor included
This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Honda SH 125i from 2013 to 2024. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part: it mounts in the original position, uses the original wire routing and connects to the standard plugs, so the machine can be put back on the road without cutting, splicing or otherwise modifying the loom.
The crank position sensor is supplied with the assembly, so the ignition trigger is renewed at the same time as the charging winding instead of being reused from a unit of unknown age. The stator is built on the highest grade of lamination materials and wound with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, which is what lets it survive the sustained heat inside the engine case that kills the original. Connectors and a rubber grommet are included, and all products shipped are tested.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit replacement for the original unit. The 33 mm interior diameter, 108 mm exterior diameter and 21 mm thickness match the original, and both plugs connect straight to the scooter's harness, so no cutting or splicing is required.
What is included in the box?
The generator stator assembly with its 9-wire lead and two plugs, the crank position sensor, the connectors and the rubber grommet.
How do I know the old stator has failed?
A failing stator normally shows up as a battery that will not stay charged, dim or flickering lights and hard starting once the engine has been running. Measure across the alternator wires, red/yellow, red/blue and red/white: each pair should read approximately 0.6 ohms, within plus or minus 20 per cent. A reading well away from that figure means the winding has failed.
How do I check the stator is not shorting to earth?
Put one meter probe on any alternator wire and the other on the stator body or a clean earth point. A healthy unit reads O.L, an open line, with no continuity at all. Any measurable resistance to ground means the insulation has broken down and the stator is shorting, which will also destroy the regulator rectifier if it is left in service.
