Generator Stator - Honda TRX 500 & 520 Fourtrax Foreman Rubicon FA
Honda TRX 500 / 520 Fourtrax Foreman Rubicon FA 2015-2021 - RMSTATOR part RMS010-107181
This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit in the Honda TRX 500 and TRX 520 Fourtrax Foreman Rubicon FA. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit assembly supplied with the pick up pulsar coil, the connectors and the rubber grommet, so the complete unit seats in the engine cover and plugs into the standard harness with no modification.
The stator is wound on the highest grade of lamination materials using the highest grade of copper winding, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius. It measures 107 mm on the exterior diameter with a 42 mm interior diameter and 31 mm of thickness, and carries 18 poles across 5 wires, 2 plugs and 5 pins. Two harness legs leave the grommet, one at 335 mm and one at 855 mm. Alternator resistance measures 0.6 ohms yellow to yellow and the pickup measures 235 ohms from blue to green, both within plus or minus 20 per cent. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.
The Foreman Rubicon FA is an electric-shift machine, so its whole transmission depends on stable system voltage. A stator that has lost a phase will first show up as a battery that never quite charges, then as shifting that hesitates or refuses, and finally as a machine that will not start. Because the pick up pulsar coil is part of the same assembly, replacing the stator restores the ignition trigger circuit at the same time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play direct replacement for the original unit, supplied with the connectors and the rubber grommet, so the standard harness stays intact. Before ordering, confirm that the number on your original unit is 31120-HR6-A61.
What is included?
The stator, the pick up pulsar coil, the connectors and the rubber grommet, supplied as one complete assembly.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
On an electric-shift Rubicon the first sign is usually a battery that will not stay charged, followed by shifting that becomes slow or intermittent as voltage sags. Measured with a multimeter, the alternator should read about 0.6 ohms yellow to yellow and the pickup about 235 ohms from blue to green, both within plus or minus 20 per cent. An open circuit reading, or continuity from a winding to the engine case, confirms the stator has failed.
Why are there two harness legs of different lengths?
The assembly runs one 335 mm leg and one 855 mm leg out of the grommet so that the charging plug and the pickup plug each reach their own connector on the Foreman Rubicon loom. Both are supplied already fitted and cut to length, so the routing matches the original part.
