A brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original charging unit fitted to the Hyosung GT 650 range and the GV 650 Aquila. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part, so the original loom, plugs and engine cases stay exactly as they are and the charging system is returned to full output without improvisation.
Construction uses the highest grade lamination materials with the highest grade copper windings, insulated to resist 200 degrees Celsius. Heat is what finishes off an original stator on these twins, so the higher rating is the difference between a repair that lasts and one that repeats. The stator is supplied complete with the pickup pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber grommet, along with the opposite connector for the main harness side. Please note this part does not fit the EFI version of the GT250 and GT250R models.

Will it fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit replacement for the original stator on the listed Hyosung 650 models. The original wiring and plugs are retained.
What is included?

How do I confirm the old stator has failed?
Measure the alternator windings yellow to yellow, which should read about 0.5 ohms, plus or minus 20 percent, and the pickup coil blue to green, which should read about 129 ohms, plus or minus 20 percent. An open circuit, a short to earth, or readings well outside those figures point to a failed stator. Persistent flat batteries and dimming lights at idle are the common symptoms.
Does this fit the GT250 or GT250R?
No. This stator does not fit the EFI version of the GT250 and GT250R models. It is intended for the 650 models listed in the fitment guide above.
