This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original charging unit on Kawasaki Jet Ski JT1200 and JT1500 personal watercraft. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part built to the original 41 mm interior diameter, 104 mm exterior diameter and 14 mm thickness, with the original short 75 mm lead to the grommet and 60 mm run to the plug, so it drops straight into the standard housing and connects to the untouched loom.
The stator is built on highest grade lamination materials and wound with highest grade copper windings that are resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. Charging output on a personal watercraft has to survive constant heat, vibration and a damp engine bay, and the temperature rating of the winding insulation is what decides how long the unit lasts. The connector and rubber grommet are both included so the loom seals correctly on refit, and every unit is tested before it is shipped.

How do I confirm the old stator has failed?
With the plug disconnected, measure between each pair of white wires. Every combination should read 1.1 ohms +/- 20%. An open circuit on any leg, a reading well outside that band, or continuity between any white wire and the stator core or engine case indicates a failed stator.
Is this the same part as the STX-15F stator?
No. This unit cross references to Kawasaki 21003-3747 and is 14 mm thick. Other Jet Ski stators in the same family use a different OEM number and a different thickness, so check the number stamped on or supplied with your original unit before ordering.
