This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit on the Kawasaki Ninja 250 R and the ZL 250 Eliminator. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part, so it drops straight into the original location and uses the original connector - no cutting, splicing or modification of the loom is required.
Construction uses the highest grade lamination materials for the core and the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. The stator is supplied with the connector and the rubber grommet already fitted, and we also include the opposite connector - the main harness side - because these are frequently melted, corroded or defective and are a major cause of repeat electrical issues. All products shipped are tested.

What is included in the box?
You receive the stator with its connector and rubber grommet already fitted, plus the opposite connector for the main harness side. That spare connector is included because the original is often melted, corroded or defective and is a common cause of recurring charging faults.
How do I tell if my old stator has failed?
With the plug disconnected, measure resistance between any two of the three yellow wires. It should read 0.9 ohms +/-20%. Then check for continuity between any yellow wire and the stator core or engine case - there should be none. A reading well outside 0.9 ohms, an open circuit, or a short to earth all point to a failed stator.
Does this unit include a pick-up or pulsar coil?
No. This is the three-phase alternator stator only, with 3 wires into a single 3-pin plug. The pick-up coil is a separate component on these models and is not part of this assembly.
