Generator Stator for Kawasaki Ninja 600 R, Ninja ZX-6 and ZL 600 Eliminator
Kawasaki Ninja 600 R, Ninja ZX-6 and ZL 600 Eliminator 1985-1997 - Part number RMS010-101409
This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator built to replace the original charging coil assembly on the Kawasaki Ninja 600 R, the Ninja ZX-6 and the ZL 600 Eliminator. It is a plug-and-play unit, a direct fit, and very easy to install: it sits in the standard position behind the alternator cover and connects through the standard single four-pin plug, so no part of the wiring loom needs to be cut, spliced or rerouted to get the machine charging again.
The core is built from the highest grade lamination materials and the windings are the highest grade copper, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. These bikes are now well past thirty years old, and heat-aged winding insulation is the single most common reason the original unit gives up, so that is where the specification has been raised. A rubber grommet is supplied, and an additional opposite connector for the main harness side is included as well, because that plug is frequently found melted, corroded or defective and is a major cause of repeat electrical faults. All products shipped are tested.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct fit that uses the original mounting and the standard single four-pin plug, so nothing about the loom needs altering. These three models share the same charging stator across a long production run, so read the number off the unit you are removing and check it against 21003-1124 before ordering.
What is included in the box?
The stator with its connector already fitted, a rubber grommet, and a spare opposite connector with pins for the main harness side, so a burnt or corroded harness plug can be renewed during the same job.
How do I tell if my old stator has failed?
Unplug the stator and measure resistance between the black output wires. Each pair should read 0.8 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent. Then check between any wire and the engine case, where there should be no continuity at all. An open circuit, a badly unbalanced set of readings, or a short to earth all confirm the stator has failed. Flat batteries, dim lights and a bike that runs only until the battery drains are the usual symptoms.
Why does this stator have four wires?
The unit carries four wires into a single four-pin plug, which is the original arrangement for these models. If the plug on your machine has a different pin count, you are looking at a different stator and this is not the right part.
