This is a brand new aftermarket replacement stator for the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6 and ZZR600 across the 1990 to 2005 coverage span. It is a direct replacement for the original Kawasaki unit, so it uses the same mounting pattern, the same wire routing and the same factory plug. What is included in the box?

How can I tell my old stator has failed?
Common symptoms are a battery that keeps going flat, headlights that dim at idle and brighten with revs, or a charging warning. With a multimeter set to ohms, each pair of the three yellow output wires should read about 0.6 ohms, within plus or minus 20 per cent, and none of them should show continuity to the engine case. An open circuit, a short to earth, or wildly uneven readings between the three pairs indicate a failed stator.
Why is a second connector supplied?
The three-pin plug between the stator and the main harness on these models runs hot and is a known corrosion point. Fitting the supplied harness-side connector removes the high-resistance joint that often destroys the replacement stator and the regulator rectifier, so it is worth changing while the panels are off.
