The alternator should read about 0.4 ohms between the Yellow wires and the pick-up about 200 ohms from White to White/Red, each within 20 percent. Check each output wire to ground as well, which should show no continuity. Readings that are open circuit, shorted to ground or far outside those bands indicate a failed stator.
