A brand new aftermarket stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit on the Suzuki GSX 650 F, the GSF 1250 S Bandit and the GSX 1250 FA. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so the original loom and mounting points are used exactly as Suzuki intended and no cutting or splicing is needed.
The stator uses the highest grade lamination materials and copper windings insulated to 200 degrees Celsius, which is the specification that keeps a rebuilt charging system alive on a big touring twin or four that spends long periods at sustained revs. It comes complete with the pickup coil, the connector and the rubber grommet. Measure the pickup coil black to black/red: about 117 ohms, plus or minus 20 percent. Readings that are open circuit, shorted to earth, or well away from those figures confirm a failed stator.
Why is a second connector supplied?
The manufacturer supplies an extra connector for the main harness side because that half of the plug is often melted, corroded or defective by the time the stator is changed. Replacing both halves together prevents the new stator from being damaged by a poor connection.
