A brand new aftermarket generator stator for the Suzuki VL 800 Volusia and Boulevard C50, built as a direct replacement to your original unit. The pick up pulsar coil is supplied already mounted on the assembly, so the complete plate goes in as one piece rather than needing parts moved across from the old stator. Fitting is plug-and-play and direct fit using the standard mounting points and the two original plugs, with no loom modification.
The windings are made from the highest grade copper, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, on the highest grade lamination materials. On a big-bore cruiser that spends time at low speed in traffic, heat is what eventually kills the factory stator, and this is the area the specification addresses. A connector and a rubber grommet are supplied so the harness can be resealed properly, and all products shipped are tested before dispatch. The part reference is RMS010-101441.

Does it fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit replacement for the original Suzuki stator, with five wires, two plugs and five pins matching the factory arrangement. There is no cutting, splicing or drilling involved.
What is supplied with it?
The generator stator, the pick up pulsar coil already fitted, a connector and a rubber grommet. Nothing needs to be transferred from the old assembly other than the mounting bolts.
How do I know the old stator is the problem?
Repeated flat batteries, dimming lights at idle, or a machine that will not restart after a run all point at the charging side. Test with a multimeter: the alternator should read about 0.6 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent between each yellow wire, and the pickup about 251 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent from green to blue. Readings well away from those, an open circuit, or a short to the core confirm a failed stator.
Will the wiring reach the standard connector position?
Yes. The harness runs 330 mm from the stator body to the grommet and a further 355 mm from the grommet to the plug, with 175 mm from the pickup coil to its grommet, which follows the original routing on the VL 800.
