A brand new aftermarket generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Yamaha FZR 600 and FZR 600 R between 1989 and 1999. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit assembly, so the charging system can be brought back to full health without cutting the loom, splicing wires or modifying the engine cases.
The stator is wound with the highest grade copper and built on the highest grade lamination materials, with insulation rated to 200 degrees Celsius so the windings survive the heat that kills tired original stators. The assembly ships complete with the pickup pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber grommet already fitted, and every unit is tested before it leaves the factory. An additional connector for the main harness side is supplied as well, because that half of the plug is very often melted or corroded by the time the stator itself fails.

How do I know my old stator has failed?
Measure the alternator windings white to white: a healthy unit reads about 0.6 ohms, plus or minus 20 percent. Measure the pickup coil white/red to white/black: it should read about 101 ohms, plus or minus 20 percent. A reading that is open circuit, shorted to earth, or far outside those figures points to a failed stator. A battery that keeps going flat on a bike that runs is the usual first symptom.
Why is the extra connector supplied?
The connector half that lives on the main harness is frequently melted or corroded by the time a stator fails. Fitting the supplied replacement connector at the same time avoids a repeat failure caused by a poor connection rather than by the stator itself.
