High Output 250 Watt Generator Stator
Suzuki DR 650 SE, 1996-2024 - RMSTATOR RM01047
This is a brand new aftermarket high output generator stator for the Suzuki DR 650 SE, covering the whole production run from 1996 to 2024. It replaces Suzuki part numbers 32101-32E00 and 32101-32E01 and is a direct replacement for the original unit, so installation is plug-and-play and direct fit into the standard generator housing. The headline figure is 20 percent more output over stock, and RMSTATOR are explicit that it works with all other OEM components - you do not need to change the regulator/rectifier or any other part of the charging circuit to run it.
That extra output is genuinely useful on a DR 650 SE, because the standard charging system leaves very little spare capacity once heated grips, auxiliary lighting, a heated jacket, a GPS or USB charging are added for touring or green-lane use. The stator is built on the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper winding, insulated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius, which is the specification that matters on an air/oil-cooled single where the generator cover sees limited cooling airflow. The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied on the assembly so the ignition trigger is renewed at the same time as the charging windings, and the connector and rubber grommet are included so the harness joint can be sealed correctly on reassembly. Every unit is tested before shipping.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this fit without any modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement for the original DR 650 SE unit and installation is plug-and-play and direct fit using the standard mounting points and connectors. No cutting, splicing or drilling is required.
Do I need a different regulator/rectifier for the higher output?
No. RMSTATOR state that this high output stator works with all other OEM components, so the standard regulator/rectifier, harness and battery are retained. You simply fit the stator in place of the original.
What is included in the box?
You receive the high output stator, the pick-up pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber grommet.
How do I confirm my existing stator has failed?
Test with a multimeter against the specification table. The alternator windings should read 0.4 ohms +/-20% White to White, the pick-up coil 230 ohms +/-20% between Green and Blue, and the position sensor 0.4 ohms +/-20% between Black and White. Also check each winding wire against engine earth - that must be open circuit. An open winding, a shorted phase or any continuity to earth confirms the stator has failed. A flat battery combined with a charging voltage that does not rise above resting battery voltage at raised revs is the usual symptom.
