High Output 300 Watt Stator and Cover Gasket Kit
Yamaha Raptor 350, Warrior 350, Wolverine 350 and Big Bear 400 - 2000-2013 - Part RM01017G
This is a brand new high output stator rated at 300 watts, supplied together with the stator crankcase cover gasket so the charging system can be rebuilt in a single job. It is a direct replacement for the original Yamaha unit fitted to the Raptor 350, Warrior 350, Wolverine 350 and Big Bear 400 between 2000 and 2013. The assembly is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so no cutting, splicing or modification of the loom is required.
The stator is wound with the highest grade of copper, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius, and built on highest grade lamination materials for efficient magnetic transfer. The pickup pulsar coil is integrated into the assembly, and the connector and rubber grommet are supplied with the unit. A tube of dielectric grease is included at no extra cost to help seal and protect the connections on reassembly. At 300 watts the output is well above a standard replacement, which gives useful headroom for auxiliary lighting, heated grips or winch use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and installs plug-and-play. The connector and rubber grommet are supplied, so the loom does not need to be cut or spliced.
What is included in the box?
The stator, the stator cover gasket, the pickup pulsar coil, the connector, the rubber grommet and a tube of dielectric grease.
How can I tell my old stator has failed?
Measure the resistance across the windings with a multimeter and compare against the figures in the Technical Specs table above. The alternator legs should read about 0.4 ohms between each white wire, and any white wire to ground should read open line. A reading that is short to ground, or far outside the plus or minus 20 percent tolerance, indicates a failed winding. A battery that will not hold charge while the engine is running is the usual symptom.
What does the 300 watt output give me over a standard stator?
It provides more charging capacity than the original specification, which leaves headroom for accessories such as auxiliary lighting, heated grips or a winch without flattening the battery. It works with the existing regulator rectifier and the rest of the standard charging circuit.
