This is a brand new aftermarket high output stator kit for the Yamaha YFM 660 R Raptor built between 2001 and 2005, supplied complete with the matching crankcase cover gasket. It is a direct replacement for the original unit, so it is a plug-and-play, direct fit part that drops straight into the standard stator housing using the standard fixings and the standard wiring route. The stator produces 300 watts, giving the charging system meaningful headroom over a tired or standard-output original, which is useful on a quad that is running heated grips, auxiliary lighting, a winch or any other added electrical load. The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied already mounted on the backing plate, so the ignition trigger and the charging windings are replaced together as one assembly.

A reading that is open circuit, near zero, or well outside the plus or minus 20 percent tolerance indicates a failed winding. Any continuity between a winding wire and the stator body or engine earth also means the stator has shorted and must be replaced.
