The RM01091 is a brand new high output stator rated at 75 watts for the Yamaha YFS 200 Blaster built between 1988 and 2006. It is a direct replacement for the original unit, so it drops into the standard position and connects to the existing harness. Installation is plug-and-play with no cutting, drilling or splicing required, and the 75 watt output gives enough capacity to run brighter lighting than the standard stator supports.
The stator is built on the highest grade lamination material and wound with the highest grade copper, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. An adjustable timing plate is supplied with the kit, allowing ignition timing to be advanced or retarded by up to 10 degrees. The connector and the rubber grommet are also included, and every unit is tested before it is shipped.

How do I know my old stator has failed?
Compare a multimeter reading against the figures in the table above. The alternator should read about 0.4 ohms from Yellow/Red to Black, the pick-up about 20 ohms from White/Red to Black, and the source coil about 280 ohms from Black/Red to Green/White, each within 20 percent. Readings that are open circuit, shorted or far outside those bands indicate a failed stator.
What does the adjustable timing plate do?
The supplied timing plate allows the stator to be rotated so that ignition timing can be advanced or retarded by up to 10 degrees from standard. It is fitted in place of the original fixed plate and lets the timing be set to suit the engine specification and the fuel being used.
