Stator for Ski-Doo Formula III, Grand Touring, Mach 1 and Mach Z 600-800
Ski-Doo 600 / 700 / 800, 1998-2003 - OEM 410922700, 410922927 and 410922901 - Part RM01349
This is a brand new stator for Ski-Doo Formula III, Grand Touring, Mach 1 and Mach Z snowmobiles in 600, 700 and 800 engine sizes, built between 1998 and 2003. It is a direct replacement to your original unit and installs plug-and-play as a direct fit. The stator is the generating heart of the electrical system: its alternator windings supply the charging current for the battery, lights and handlebar heaters, while two separate source windings feed the ignition. When any of those windings breaks down the machine loses charge, spark, or both.
Important: this stator does not fit the 1999 model. Two variants exist for the 1998 Grand Touring 700, so please compare the connectors on your original unit against this part before you buy. Construction uses the highest grade lamination materials and copper windings rated to 200 degrees Celsius, and all units are tested before shipping. The stator carries seven wires into two plugs with seven pins in total, on a 350 mm loom, and the connector is included along with additional connector pins.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it fit without modification?
It is a plug-and-play direct fit with the connector included, so no cutting or splicing is needed. Note the two exceptions: it does not fit the 1999 model, and two variants exist for the 1998 Grand Touring 700 - compare your connectors before ordering.
What is included?
One brand new stator with a seven-wire, 350 mm loom terminating in two plugs, the connector, and additional connector pins. Every unit is tested before shipping.
How do I know the original stator has failed?
Watch for a battery that will not hold charge, dim or flickering lights, heated grips that stop working, or a loss of spark. Check with a meter against these figures: 0.4 ohms yellow to yellow on the alternator, 28 ohms red to white on the source winding and 4 ohms black/red to white on the second source winding. An open circuit or a short to the laminations confirms the failure.
Why does this stator have two plugs?
Because it carries three separate winding groups - the alternator output plus two source windings for the ignition - across seven wires and seven pins. That is why matching the connectors on your original unit matters, particularly on 1998 Grand Touring 700 machines where two versions were built.
