RM01437 is a brand new generator stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Honda TRX 420 Rancher in FA 4x4 Auto and FPA 4x4 Auto Power Steering specification from 2009 to 2014. It is a plug-and-play, direct-fit part: the core mounts in the factory position and the five wires terminate in a single five-pin plug that mates with the machine's existing loom, so no cutting, splicing or rewiring is involved.
The pickup pulsar coil is included with this assembly, so the ignition trigger and the charging windings are renewed together. That is worth having on the FPA in particular, where electric power steering adds a constant load to the charging system and a weak stator shows up first as steering assist that drops out, a low battery or a starter that cranks slowly when the machine is hot.
