A brand new aftermarket generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original charging unit on the Honda VF Magna. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part that goes straight back into the original position with no modification to the engine cases or the wiring loom. The part number is RM01461.
The unit is built on the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. Three wires run to a single three pin plug on a 700 mm tail, and the connector and rubber grommet are supplied already fitted. All products shipped are tested.

Does this stator need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct, plug-and-play replacement for the original Honda unit on the VF700C Magna and the VF750C Magna, supplied with the connector and rubber grommet already fitted. No cutting or splicing of the loom is required.

How do I know my original stator has failed?
Check it with a multimeter. This unit reads 0.4 ohms +/- 20% black to black across the windings. A reading that is open circuit, shorted to earth, or well outside that figure points to a failed stator.
Is this the same stator as the earlier VF Sabre and Magna models?
No. This part is specific to the 1987 VF700C and 1988 VF750C Magna and replaces Honda 31120-MN0-003 and 31120-MN0-004. It measures 114 mm outside diameter by 17 mm thick, which is a different case dimension to the earlier MB series stators. Always check the number on your original unit before ordering.
