This is a brand new single ignition stick coil for the Triumph three-cylinder engine, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit. It sits directly over the spark plug and carries the coil and the plug cap in one body, so a failed coil can be swapped for a new one without disturbing the rest of the ignition system. Order one for a single failed cylinder, or three if you are refreshing the whole engine.
The coil measures 139 mm long with a 17 mm external tube diameter and a 10 mm internal tube, giving 46 mm of inside depth over the plug. Two seal sizes are provided, 49 mm and 52 mm, each 12 mm high, and the coil carries a single plug with two terminals so it mates with the original Triumph connector. How do I know the old stick coil has failed?
