Mosfet Voltage Regulator for CFMoto CFORCE 500 and CF500 2011-2012
CFMoto CFORCE 500 and CF500 - 2011 and 2012
A brand new MOSFET voltage regulator for the CFMoto CFORCE 500 and CF500, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit. It is plug-and-play and direct fit.
MOSFET regulators run cooler than all OEM diode style regulators, and this unit adds overheat protection so that it temporarily shuts off rather than burning up. It is built with a higher grade of electrical components and an improved heat sink and charging capability. RMSTATOR includes the opposite connector for the main harness side, because corrosion in that plug is a common problem on these machines.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit without modification?
Yes, on the CFMoto CFORCE 500 and CF500 for 2011 and 2012. It is a direct replacement for the original unit with two plugs, five pins and five wires, and 80 mm between the fixing holes.
What is included?
The MOSFET regulator plus the opposite connector for the main harness side. Fitting that fresh connector at the same time is recommended if the original plug shows any corrosion, since a poor connection there will cause charging faults regardless of how good the regulator is.
How do I tell my old regulator has failed?
Check the battery voltage with the engine running. It should be held at around 14.5 V +/- 0.5 V. A reading stuck at resting battery voltage means nothing is being charged; a reading over 15 V means the regulator is overcharging and will boil the battery. Confirm the stator is healthy before replacing the regulator, so you are not treating the symptom.
What does MOSFET actually change?
A conventional OEM regulator is a diode based shunt design that turns surplus charging current into heat, which is why they cook themselves. A MOSFET regulator switches rather than dissipating, so it runs cooler for the same output, and this one shuts off temporarily if it does overheat instead of failing permanently.
